Welcome

We are excited to present the Conference for General Practice 2018!

Join us at the Aotea Centre in Auckland from Friday 27 July to Sunday 29 July 2018, with the Quality Symposium held as a pre-conference day on Thursday 26 July.

The theme for the 2018 conference is:

One practice team, built on creativity and leadership
He aha te kai ō te rangatira? He kōrero, he kōrero, he kōrero
What is the food of the leader? It is knowledge. It is communication

The Quality Symposium theme for 2018 is:

One team, in pursuit of excellence
Whāia te iti kahurangi ke te tūohu koe, me he maunga teitei
Pursue excellence - should you stumble, let it be to a lofty mountain

The Conference for General Practice is New Zealand's only national GP conference that's presented by GPs for GPs and the general practice team. It is an excellent opportunity to mix with your peers and decision makers in an environment focused on developing the profession through education, debate and inspiration. Featuring a strong clinical stream alongside a programme of social events, you'll be able to earn CPD points and connect with colleagues.

Call for abstracts / Expression of Interest (EOI) to Present

Are you interested in presenting at the conference?

We are now inviting expressions of interest to present at GP18. Do not miss the opportunity to share with the general practice community. Individuals or collaborative groups are invited to submit abstracts. The programme committee is willing to embrace innovation in your choice of delivery method as well as your topic/s for presentation.

If you'd like to take part, please complete the Expression of Interest to Present form. Expressions of interest will close on 28 February 2018.
